About ThumbnailMaker
ThumbnailMaker is an AI generator for YouTube thumbnails, built and run by one person, Aymane Senhaji, from Rabat, Morocco. You paste a video's link or write a sentence. It writes the brief, generates the image at YouTube's shape, reads the text back and checks the image at the size the feed shows it. Then you correct it in a sentence, or make three concepts for YouTube's A/B test.
Who builds it?
Aymane Senhaji, Founder, ThumbnailMaker
He started ThumbnailMaker after generating and grading thousands of AI thumbnails by hand, and writes the blog's guides on sizes, click-through rate and how the generator works. There is no team behind a “we”: a message to the contact address is read and answered by him.
What does it get right by default?
Most bad thumbnails fail in the same four ways, so the generator handles them without being asked.
- One focal pointA subject, a product, three arrows and a circle in one frame is the most common thumbnail mistake. It is not a style.
- Five words or fewer on the imageDrawn exactly as typed, then read back. A wrong letter is redrawn before you see the image.
- The bottom-right corner stays clearYouTube's duration badge sits there whatever is underneath, so nothing that matters goes there.
- No waxy AI facesAirbrushed, plastic skin is a prompting failure, not a limit of the model. The generator asks for real skin texture on every image.
How are the images made?
The images come from Google's Gemini image model, through Google's API. The privacy policy lists it with every other company that processes data for ThumbnailMaker. Every person in a ThumbnailMaker image is AI-generated, and real people and celebrities can't be generated. The examples on this site are real outputs of the generator, and they say so where they appear.
There are no testimonials, ratings or user counts on this site. The product is new, and invented proof is worse than none.
Who handles payments and data?
Payments go through Polar, the merchant of record, so your card details never reach ThumbnailMaker's servers. Plans are cancelled from Settings, and the refund policy says what happens after. The free tester, resizer and text editor run in your browser: an image you open in them is not uploaded.
How do I get in touch?
Write to contact@thumbnailmaker.so or use the contact form. A question about a generation, your credits or a bill gets a reply from the person who built it.
