What changes between the plans
Every plan gets the brief from a video link, the ten styles, text drawn in and read back, 16:9 and Shorts, the feed-size check, corrections by instruction, 4K and full commercial rights with no watermark. These are the differences.

Questions about paying
No: generating a thumbnail takes a plan, from $12 a month. What stays free: with a free account, the brief written from your video's link and the analysis of a thumbnail you already have; with no account at all, eight tools, among them a thumbnail tester and a thumbnail rater. Nothing you download carries a watermark.
One image is 10 credits: a generation, a second take, a correction by instruction or an Auto-Polish. The style and the text are included. A 4K image is 20 credits and a Test & Compare pack of three concepts is 30. The cost is shown on the button before you click it.
Generation pauses until your plan renews or you move to a bigger plan; nothing is deleted and your library stays available. Changing plan applies immediately and the new monthly amount is added right away.
Monthly plans refill to their amount on each renewal. Yearly plans are topped up each month too.
No. A thumbnail is reserved before the model is called and given back when nothing comes out, including the second take of a pair or a concept of a pack. Auto-Polish counts nothing when the review finds nothing worth fixing.
Monthly plans cancel anytime from Settings; you keep access and the credits left until the end of the paid period, with no prorated refund for the remaining time. Yearly plans are paid up front and can be fully refunded within 14 days of the payment: write to billing@thumbnailmaker.so. A technical failure on our side is handled case by case, as the refund policy explains.
Polar, as Merchant of Record: they handle the card, the invoice and the taxes, and your card details never reach our servers.
Studio is built for that: $99 a month for 3,000 credits, about 300 thumbnails, with three brand kits so each channel keeps its own look, batches of ten videos from their links, and the API. If you need more channels or volume than Studio covers, write to contact@thumbnailmaker.so.
