Use ThumbnailMaker inside ChatGPT or Claude

Connect once, then ask your AI for a thumbnail. It tells you the price, you say yes, and the thumbnail comes back in the chat, with the words drawn in and checked at feed size.

Paste it exactly like this, with nothing after it.

Add it to your AI app

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
  3. Name it ThumbnailMaker, paste the link, choose OAuth, then click Create.
  4. Log in to ThumbnailMaker and click Allow.

In a chat, click +, pick ThumbnailMaker, and ask for your thumbnail.

Claude

  1. Open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click Add → Add custom connector.
  3. Name it ThumbnailMaker, paste the link, then click Add.
  4. Click Connect, log in to ThumbnailMaker and click Allow.

Ask Claude for your thumbnail in any chat.

Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code instead? The same link works with a key: setup for developers.

Ask for a thumbnail

You can also ask “How many thumbnails do I have left?” or “Show me my last thumbnails.” Click a request to copy it.

Good to know

  • It always tells you the price first and waits for your yes before it spends anything.
  • It costs what the app costs: one thumbnail is 10 credits, 4K or a second take counts double, three to test is 30. Nothing extra for using it from a chat.
  • If an image fails, its credits come back on their own.
  • Every thumbnail also lands in your Library, ready to download.
  • Making thumbnails from a chat is part of the Studio plan ($99 a month, 300 thumbnails). The brief and the check work on any account, free.

No plan yet? See the plans. Something not working? Check that nothing comes after /api/mcp in the link, remove ThumbnailMaker from your app and add it again, or write to contact@thumbnailmaker.so.
