YouTube title generator

Describe the video in a sentence. You get six titles, each from a different angle: a result, a question, a number, a contrast, a stake, a warning. All under 70 characters, so the end isn't cut off in the feed.

Free, no account. Your text goes to an AI model to write the result and isn't saved.

From topic to title in one pass

The examples in these panels were written for this page. Yours come from your own video.

  1. The video

I cooked every meal in an air fryer for 30 days

    01

    Your video

    Say what happens in it

One sentence is enough: what you did, what you found, what the viewer gets. The more concrete it is, the less the titles read like everyone else's.

  2. Title ideas

    • I Cooked Everything in an Air Fryer for 30 Days
    • Is an Air Fryer Worth It After 30 Days?
    • 30 Days, 90 Meals, One Air Fryer
    • Oven vs Air Fryer: A Month of Real Meals
    • What a Month of Air Frying Did to My Kitchen
    • Don't Buy an Air Fryer Before You Watch This

    02

    Six angles

    Six titles, not six rewordings

A list of near-identical titles tells you nothing. Each idea takes a different route to the click, so you choose between ideas, not synonyms.

  3. I Cooked Everything in an Air Fryer for 30 Days47 characters
Is an Air Fryer Worth It After 30 Days?39 characters
30 Days, 90 Meals, One Air Fryer32 characters

    03

    The length

    Counted against the feed

YouTube accepts 100 characters. A phone feed cuts a title after two lines, so each idea shows its length and turns red past 70.

  4. AI-generated thumbnail: a reviewer holds black over-ear headphones up to the camera and points at them, eyebrows raised in doubt, with the words WORTH IT?

    04

    The thumbnail

Then the image that keeps the promise

A title and a thumbnail are one promise in two parts. Paste the video link into the generator and the brief is written from the title you picked.

Why a title needs its thumbnail

The title and the thumbnail are read together, in about the time it takes to scroll past. If they say the same thing, one of them is wasted. The thumbnail shows the moment; the title adds what the image can't: the number, the stakes, the question.

So a good title isn't the most clickable sentence you can write. It's the one the video keeps. A title that overpromises earns clicks from people who leave in the first seconds, and a high click rate with a short watch is what YouTube reads as clickbait.

That's also why no idea is written in capitals. In the feed, the image does the shouting.

Where the line sits between bold and misleading: clickbait thumbnails.

Built for every kind of upload

  • Challenges

    A number and a stake

30 days, 100 hours, one rule. The number goes in the title when the thumbnail can't hold it.

  • Reviews

    A verdict, not a spec

Viewers search for whether it's worth it. A question title answers that search in their own words.

  • Tutorials

    The result first

What they'll be able to do after the video, said in the words they'd type into search.

  • Stories and vlogs

    A reason to care

What changed, what went wrong, what you didn't expect. The title opens the question the video answers.

Questions, answered

How long should a YouTube title be?

YouTube accepts up to 100 characters. How much shows depends on the screen: a phone feed gives a title two lines and cuts the rest. This generator keeps every idea under 70 characters and shows the count, so the part that matters is never the part that gets cut.

Is the YouTube title generator free?

Yes, with no account and no card. Each visitor can run it ten times an hour, because every run is a call to an AI model that costs us money.

Should the title repeat the words on the thumbnail?

No. The two are read together, so repeating the text wastes one of them. Let the image show the moment and the title add what the image can't: the number, the stakes, the question.

Can a title be too clickbait?

Yes. A title that promises more than the video delivers gets clicks and loses viewers, and YouTube reads that pair as clickbait. The generator is told to promise only what you described.

Does it write titles in other languages?

It writes in the page's language: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German or Indonesian. The language switch is at the bottom of the page.

Is my text saved?

No. Your description of the video is sent to the AI model to write the titles and isn't stored with us.

Now the thumbnail

Paste the video link. The generator writes the brief from your title, makes the thumbnail and checks it at feed size. Previews are free.
